About Silsa

Silsa is an interactive family tree web application operated by Kyoora. By using Silsa, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in GDPR regions) to use Silsa.

Accounts & Guest Mode

Guest trees are stored in your browser's local storage only. Registered accounts have cloud-stored trees. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload illegal content, scrape data, impersonate others, or abuse the invite system.

Your Content

You own your family data, photos, and notes. Silsa processes this data solely to provide the service. You grant Silsa a limited license to store and display your content to you and your invited members.

Free Tier Limits

The free tier has limits on the number of trees, people, members, and photos. These limits may change with notice.

Silsa Pro (Subscription)

Silsa Pro is an optional subscription with automatic renewal. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal. If your subscription expires, trees beyond the free limit will be paused. Your data is permanently preserved and never deleted. Payments are processed by Paddle as our Merchant of Record, and their terms apply.

One-time Purchases

One-time payments grant permanent, per-tree (or per-account) access. They are not affected by subscription status and are non-transferable.

Termination

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms of Service violations.

Limitation of Liability

The service is provided 'as is'. Silsa is not liable for data loss beyond our control, such as when you clear your browser's local storage in guest mode.

Changes to Terms

We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notices. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. EU users retain their GDPR-compatible rights.
